Windows 10 is coming to an end: Is your measurement system ready for the change?

The end of support for Windows 10 is just around the corner, and while there's plenty of time to adapt (October 14, 2025), you should know your options to stay protected, up-to-date, and use your measuring equipment without problems.
After almost a decade of service, Windows 10's days are numbered, and it's time to begin the transition to Windows 11 to ensure your measuring machines and the programs you use regularly can continue to run smoothly.
At Sariki, we want to help you with this transition and offer a personalized analysis of your needs before it's too late.
We believe you should ask yourself some key questions to understand if and how the transition to Windows 11 may affect you.
- Has your company's IT department informed you about the transition to W11?
- Do you know if all your measurement apps are compatible with W11?
- Do you know if your measuring machine's connectivity is compatible with the new W11 PCs?
- Do you need your 3D machine or measuring equipment to remain connected to the network after the transition to W11?
Windows 11 brings changes, and we want you to have all the information ahead of time so you can keep everything under control.
One of the changes directly affects the various measurement software. Windows 11 will only be compatible with the following software versions:
- MCOSMOS 5
- MEASURLINK 10
- FORMTRACEPAK 6.101
- QVPAK 14.1
All versions prior to these will not be supported, so you'll need to update to the latest version.
On the other hand, the transition to Windows 11 will also affect your computer's hardware. Windows 11 will only support:
- UC COM PCIe
- I/O ME8200 PCIe
- Adapter ATEN USB-SERIE
