Industrial quality control increasingly requires universal applicability, versatility, and automation through measurement technologies. These demands are successfully met primarily by coordinate measuring machines (CMM) with their vast range of capabilities.
Laser scanner technology can be installed on new or existing three-dimensional machines, from the CRYSTA, STRATO and FALCIO series, thereby increasing the productivity of the measurement process by acquiring more information in less time. With a high number of applications, it allows for the rapid acquisition of complete part surface information (point cloud), to subsequently compare it against CAD and perform reverse engineering.
Compatible with PH10M/MQ and automatic tool changers.
Laser intensity is automatically adjusted, as is camera sensitivity, according to the characteristics of the part.

MSURF is Mitutoyo's software that uses high-density point cloud data obtained from the part surface to analyze it in different ways: verifying geometric features, evaluating free-form surfaces and profile shapes, and checking tolerances against CAD data.
