In-line 3D scanning
SK/cell is an advanced in-line inspection solution combining hardware and software. It is based on the integration of a high-speed scanner within a flexible multi-axis robot. This non-contact 3D measurement system uses structured light scanning technology.
Through the color map generated from the 3D point cloud obtained with this technology, both surface and feature data can be rapidly captured. The analysis of these images enables precise and reliable measurement.
This robotic optical measurement solution provides efficient quality control within your manufacturing process, performing fast and accurate measurements in a fully automated manner directly on the production floor.
The robot enables process automation, while the structured light scanner captures a point cloud containing all the information of the produced parts. Additionally, the SK/inspect software, which operates the solution, is designed to perform in-line measurements in an easy and intuitive way, as well as to communicate seamlessly with your MES.
SK/cell is a flexible control and measurement system that delivers high-quality results while saving significant time throughout the production and inspection process. It automatically scans, compares, and generates reports, offering great ease of use for any operator, along with the ability for engineers and quality managers to analyze data in real time, regardless of whether they are on-site or working remotely.
