In line 3D digitalization
CMRobot is a hardware and software solution for advanced inline inspection. It is based on the integration of a 3D laser scanner in a multiple axle flexible robot.
This non-contact 3D measurement system uses 3D laser scanner technology without using targets or tracking systems. A contact probe can be incorporated into the laser scanner.
This robotized optical measurement solution would provide you with an efficient quality control in your manufacturing process, carrying out fast and precise measurements in a completely automated way directly in your production plant.In addition, the generated data can be easily integrated into the workflow.

The CMR solution is available for use with the TX range of Stäubli robots (TX 60, TX 90 and TX 200). Using a Staubli TX 200 with contact probe, you can achieve an accuracy of +/- 100 μm. When scanning with the Zephyr II Blue scanner, the accuracy is +/- 150 μm (these data are effective for a measuring volume of one cubic meter).
This solution has been developed in collaboration between Staübli, Kreon and Metrologic.
